About Us

Semnat & Associates Ltd trading as Parkdeckchairs, Semnat & Associates Ltd have created a mission statement to cater to its diverse range of customers who rely on our service throughout the Royal Parks in London.

We aim to be a high quality client-focused service provider providing its clientele with a consistently high standard of service, ultimately leading to a reliable deckchair service. We will endeavour to respond in a timely manner that is both flexible, safe and reliable within the Royal Parks.

We also aim to increase the provision of safer deckchairs within the Royal Parks while continuing to satisfy our customers and stakeholders who find dealing with Semnat & Associates Ltd a pleasant experience.’

Design of the deckchair

In 2000 Semnat and Associates Ltd redesigned the deckchairs to reduce the risk of collapse by introducing a new paddle back system and double back safety feature; 4 height grooves and a catch on the back bar. A space has also been introduced between the long bar and ratchet bar to reduce the risk of fingers being caught in the side of the chair. The new design not only took into account client safety and comfort but also satisfied health and safety aspects. All the deckchairs are produced in accordance with the convention of international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora. Furthermore the deckchairs are produced with minimal waste, reducing any negative effects on the environment.
